This straightforward, free application does not include in-app purchases and functions without additional costs. It generates passphrases or passwords based on the keys and values from the Diceware Passphrase Home Page word list. The tool simulates the rolling of five dice (or thirty for six options) to produce random keys that map to specific words within the dictionary, which can then be concatenated to form a secure and complex passphrase. For transparency, the app displays both the generated keys and their corresponding words, allowing users to verify or cross-reference with the original Diceware data.

It is important to note that with six possible outcomes per die and five dice rolled, there are 6^5 = 7,776 words available in the database. Selecting five such words results in approximately 2.2 x 10^23 possible combinations, equating to over 2^77 possibilities—an astronomically large number suitable for highly secure applications. Users can enhance security further by adding personalized "salt" characters or capitalizing specific letters within the generated passphrases, such as incorporating a spouse’s secret nickname in reverse alphabetical order with special characters—encouraging creative and customized security strategies.
